The Camp Robin Annual Retreat is our signature program — a 3-day immersive experience designed specifically for women in Metro Detroit and surrounding communities. This is not a conference. It is not a seminar. It is a carefully held space where women of color are given explicit permission to rest, reflect, reconnect, and rebuild — together.

Why This Matters

Women of color carry extraordinary weight. The invisible labor of caregiving, the chronic stress of navigating systems not designed for us, the emotional toll of simply existing in a world that asks us to be strong before it asks us how we are. The Annual Retreat exists because rest is not a luxury — it is a necessity. And for too many women of color, it has been treated as one.

What We Offer

• Restore Track: Mind and body wellness sessions including breathwork, somatic healing, yoga, guided meditation, and licensed mental health workshops focused on burnout recovery and stress regulation.
• Rebuild Track: Financial literacy sessions covering budgeting, credit building, wealth-building fundamentals, and one-on-one financial coaching — delivered in a culturally affirming, shame-free environment.
• Reconnect Track: Community circles, identity and storytelling workshops, and sisterhood programming that help women rediscover themselves and build lasting bonds with other Black women on similar journeys.
• Scholarship Access: No woman will be turned away due to cost. At least 30% of retreat seats are scholarship-funded, and a sliding-scale structure ensures financial barriers do not determine who gets to rest.
• Curated Hospitality: Lodging, meals, welcome materials, and an intimate cohort of 25–50 women are all thoughtfully prepared to create an experience that feels like a gift, not an obligation.

Who This Is For

This retreat is for the woman of color who has been holding it together for everyone else. For the mother, the caregiver, the professional, the survivor. For the woman who cannot remember the last time someone asked about her — and meant it. You do not need to be in crisis to come. You just need to be ready to show up for yourself.
